Sharing Access
The process of how to share access will vary based on the platform. Please review the list below to find what’s applicable to you, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Email Marketing

Adding a new user:
Log into your account & click your profile icon (usually found in the bottom left corner)
Click Account
Click the Settings dropdown menu and select Users
Select Invite a User
Add email address (arielle@ariellemae.com) and select Manager as User Type
Click Send Invite

If you’re unable to add a new user due to account restrictions, you can share login credentials with me via LastPass. (Keep in mind that this route will be trickier, as you likely have two-factor authentication on the account. If this is the case, we’ll need to coordinate a day/time to log in, where you can quickly share the verification code).

Adding a new user:
Sign into your account, and click your profile icon in the top right of the screen

Select Add New User, and type in the email address (arielle@ariellemae.com)
Select the role (Manager or Admin level is required for full audit results)

NOTE: Your account level might restrict you from adding new users. If this is the case, you can share your login credentials securely using LastPass.
How to add a new user:
Sign into your account and click Settings (at the bottom left corner)
Click Users, then Add User
Fill in the fields (send access to arielle@ariellemae.com), and select the User Group
Click Add
NOTE: Notification emails are not sent to new users. Once you’ve added the new user, please send the login credentials to me via email.

Select My Account, Manage Users, then click Add New User
Enter the email address (arielle@ariellemae.com) and select the role (Account Manager permissions are needed for auditing purposes)
Click Send Invite
(Optional) Copy the URL that pops up in the next screen and send to me via email directly

NOTE: Even if your Instagram account is connected to your Facebook Business Suite/Business Manager dashboard, you’ll still need to send login credentials via LastPass or One Time.

NOTE: Before adding me to your LinkedIn page, we will need to be connected via our LinkedIn profiles.
Sign into your LinkedIn account
Go my LinkedIn profile (here)
Click Connect
Once I’ve accepted the connection, go to your LinkedIn Company Page and click the Admin Tools dropdown at the top of your page
Click Manage Admins
Click the +Add Admin button
Type in my name and select my member profile from the menu that appears
Select the correct permissions role (for assessment purposes I’ll need at least an Analyst role)

NOTE: if you have a Brand account, you can use channel permissions to add or remove access to your channel.

Go to studio.youtube.com (or click here)
Click Settings (on the left-hand side)
Click Permissions, then Invite, and enter my email address (arielle@ariellemae.com)
Click Access and select the permissions level (Manager-level access is needed for assessment purposes)

Facebook is a bit of a different animal, so you’ll find instructions on all things Facebook in the section below!
Thanks to their ever-changing platform (insert fist shaking in Zuckerberg’s general direction here), the steps needed in order to share access to your various Facebook-related assets can be tricky. If you get stuck anywhere or have questions, please feel free to reach out via email. I’m happy to hop on Zoom and we can walk through the process together!

NOTE: As of late 2021, just about everyone has been moved to Facebook Business Suite. Because of this, the instructions here are for Business Suite.
Go to business.facebook.com and log into your account
Click Settings in the bottom left corner of your dashboard
Click More Business Settings (this opens the standard Business Manager Settings dashboard)
Under Users (on the left side), click People. (It might already be open by default)
Click the blue button labeled Add
Enter my email address (arielle@ariellemae.com), and toggle Admin Access to the On position. (This will save you from having to add me to assets one at a time)
Select Next
Click Invite (the blue button in the corner)

Please follow the instructions for Facebook Business Suite/Manager to share access to your Facebook Ad Account.
NOTE: The Ad Center and Ads Manager are two separate Facebook assets. (Ads Manager is what we’ll want to use).

Website

Log into your Squarespace account
Go to Settings, then Permissions
Click Invite Contributor
Enter my name and email address (arielle@ariellemae.com)
Select the level of permissions. For assessment purposes, I will need at least Analytics-level access. If you’d like assistance building your website, making changes, adding tracking tags, etc. please set the permissions level to Administrator.

Log into your Wordpress website and select Users from the lefthand sidebar
Click Add New
Enter a username and my email (arielle@ariellemae.com)
Select the role (Editor-level permissions are required for auditing purposes, Admin access is required if you’d like help adding tracking tags, making content edits, or managing other website-related tasks).

Sign into your Wix account and go to Roles & Permissions
Click Invite People
Enter my email address (arielle@ariellemae.com)
Check the box next to the Website Manager role
Click Send Invite

How to add a user:
Sign into your Shopify account
Go to Settings (in the bottom left corner)
Open Users and Permissions on the left side panel
Click Add Staff
Enter my email address (arielle@ariellemae.com)
Assign the role/permissions (for any website support tasks, I will likely need store management access)

If your Shopify plan does not allow you to add any additional users, you can share login credentials with me securely via LastPass.
Google Suite

Follow these instructions to add a new user to your GA3 and GA4 (Google Analytics) account:
Sign into your Google Analytics account
Go to Admin (in the bottom left corner of your screen)
Under the first column labeled Account, open Account Access Management
Click the blue + button in the top right corner and select Add Users
Enter my email address (arielle@ariellemae.com)
If I’ll be performing assessment tasks on your account, select the Editor role. If you’d like help in making any updates to your account or configuring additional tracking measures, events/goals/etc., select the Administrator role.

Sign into your Google Ads account
In the upper right corner click the tools icon, then under Setup click Access and Security
Click the blue + button
Select the Standard access level and enter my email address (arielle@ariellemae.com)
Click Send Invitation

Sign into your Search Console account
Go to Settings, then Users and Permissions
Click Add User
Enter my email (arielle@ariellemae.com) and select the Full User permission level. (If you need help in linking your Google Analytics and Search Console accounts, I will need Owner-level access)

From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter “Users”, then select Users
Click New User

If required, select a Role
Select a User License
Select a profile, and if desired, configure the user’s approver settings
Check the box for Generate New Password and Notify User Immediately
